Wrapping Up 2019

2019 is almost over. A new year and a new decade is upon us. Has your business met its marketing goals for the year? It’s time to think about wrapping up 2019!

Take a few moments to look at 2019 in review. Look at your goals from the beginning of the year again. What were your 2019 resolutions back in December 2018? How will your 2020 marketing goals be even more effective and efficient than your previous years?

  6. Try and test new ideas.
  7. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when thinking of new and improved marketing goals.
  8. Incorporate your employees in your social media efforts.
  9. Google your business and improve the results.
  10. Embrace marketing automation and time-saving programs.

Although your fiscal year might not end now, the calendar year is still important for setting goals (personally and work related). So, make a list and check it twice before the January. Here are some tips to help transition into January more smoothly:

  1. Clean out your email inbox.
  2. Clean out your email contacts. There are probably several junk email contacts that need to be removed from your list.
  3. Review office accomplishments.
  4. Set goals for the year (short term and long term).
  5. Turn on your vacation responder if you’re going out town or for a few days of Holiday break.
  6. Make a priority list for marketing goals.
  7. Check with your team about their goals/resolutions at work.
  8. Meet one on one with each team member to check in with them and review yearly performance.
  9. Celebrate your employees and managers for a great year.
