A (tiny) picture is worth a thousand words. Literally!

How many times have you wanted to text something, thought about it, and ended up just sending an emoji to define what you meant? We’re all doing it. So, it’s time to start using this trend in your marketing content. Emojis are so powerful. They can connect all different thoughts, ideas, people, and feelings through a tiny picture. And with all the new/updated Emojis, there are 100’s of options to choose from. It’s time for brands to start turning to Emojis to up their game. “According to a study from Emogi, a real-time emotional marketing platform, about 92% of the online population uses emojis in texts and social media” (https://www.eclipsemarketingservices.com/6-ways-your-brand-can-use-emojis-in-marketing/).

Here are some ways to use Emojis in your daily marketing content:

  1. Caption and ask followers to “drop an Emoji” in the comments of your post. This can give your followers the chance to interact with  your brand and you can see how they use Emojis. Basically, just ask a question that can be answered in Emoji language.
  2. Use a related Emoji in the subject line of your email marketing. This will make your email stand out from all the others, and the subscriber will be more likely to open it.
  3. Use them in tweets. This will shorten your tweet and make it simple.
  4. Target younger audiences. Millennials use emojis constantly and are more likely to interact with Emojis.
  5. Use them to “caption” your Instagram highlights. Instagram highlights are a huge trend. Create a cover using a word to describe the highlight and use an Emoji in the title box.
  6. Use them in the bio of your Business Instagram account. This adds emotion and personal touch to your bio, making your page look more updated.
