How can you be productive while working from home? While some people might struggle with their work-from-home setup, others find it to be a productive environment. How do some thrive but others struggle? Well, it could be a variety of reasons.
It could be the number of people living in the home. Kids, pets, and family members can be distracting for someone who is working from home. There are ways to make your #wfh environment more productive and a quiet space to do your work:
- Designate a space in your home that is off-limits to everyone else for the time being. This is where your “office” should be. We suggest a room with a door that can be closed.
- Place a note on the door indicating this is your work time, please do not disturb.
- Wear headphones to mask any distracting noises.
- Designate a time of day to take your lunch break. Try not to work through lunch!
- Wake up at your normal work time and go to bed at a decent hour. Although this might be obvious, many of people who work from home forget that going to bed on time and early is still important!
