Here are 5 ways to focus on your Instagram marketing game. Today we are going to help you discover 10 ways to amp up your Instagram profile. If you do these things daily/weekly, you will see results and IG growth!
- Use hashtags on EVERY post. Find 27 related hashtags to your brand. Try to find ones that have 100k – 500k hits so you’re more likely to show up in the top hits of that specific hashtag. Also, follow hashtags that are related to your brand and connect with other hashtaggers. Why 27, though? The Instagram limit for hashtags on a single post is 30. Use the first three in your caption. Make sure one of them is your branded hashtag and two others most related to your post. Post the remaining 27 in the first comment under your post. Check out our post about hashtag rules.
- Use the $1.80 rule DAILY. What is this? The $1.80 rule is finding nine specific hashtags, related to your brand, and commenting on top 9 IG posts within each hashtag. First- click on a hashtag. Next- scroll to the top of the page where you’ll find the top nine posts under that hashtag. This usually means the top nine posts with the most engagement with that hashtag. Next- comment on all nine of these posts. Use at least 4 words and one emoji in each of your comments. Last- complete this step for each of the nine hashtags you have chosen.
- Have a theme and stick to it. If your Instagram profile has a theme, great! You should continue to stick with it and keep your audience satisfied. Keep your profile appealing to the eye and well balanced. Don’t make every post a sales-focused post. As for sales posts, do one or 2 per week. Spread them out and focus on content your audience will like.
- Choose the words in your bio WISELY. Things you should include in your Instagram bio are: your branded hashtag, a short description of your brand and services, an emoji or two, and a link to your website or Linktree.
- Linktree. Instagram limits your bio to only one URL. Using Linktree is the best way to showcase all of your brand’s important links into one space. Make a Linktree account, attach it to your Instagram, and combine your most important links into one little page. It’s that simple.
